Audrey Savolainen

I am a doctoral researcher in Renata-Prunskaite-Hyyryläinen's lab in Reproductive Biology. My main interests are in female fertility and imaging methods. My research aims to characterize the role and 3D morphology of endometrial glands and extracellular matrix in the mouse uterus during the reproductive cycle and pregnancy using 3D imaging methods, mainly multiphoton microscopy. My research aims to develop new knowledge which will be applicable in diagnostics for preventing pregnancy loss and determining the uterine receptive stage for embryo transfers in in vitro fertilization.
