Dominik Walica, born in 1994, received his D.Sc. (Tech.) degree in Control of Machines and Processes from the Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TUO) in 2024. The topic of his dissertation was "Development and Use of Digital Twins of Mechatronic Systems," with the Stewart platform as the object of interest. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oulu. His research interests revolve around digital twins and the modeling and simulation of mechatronic systems.
