Emma Lehtoaho
My research at the Learning and Educational Technology (LET) research lab explores the role of motivation in collaborative learning from a contextual, holistic perspective. I compare theoretical models with beliefs realized in action to understand the relationship between learners' motivational beliefs and teachers' interpretations of student motivation. Additionally, I investigate the impact of motivation regulation among peers and between students and teachers. The advantage of a holistic perspective is that as AI becomes integrated into education, it can enhance relationships between peers and between students and teachers.
