I graduated as a Master of Health Sciences in the spring of 2020 from the biomedical engineering degree program. In my Master's thesis, I piloted continuous monitoring of vital signs in small children with the sensor placed on the chest, and as a doctoral researcher I continued working on the same research topic. I'm interested in the nursing sciences perspective, and it's also well-presented in projects where, for example, I can promote the intensive care of young children and newborn infants in the future.
I am currently working as a university teacher in the biomedical engineering master's program.
Research interests
- Multimodal monitoring
- Family-oriented care in nursing
