Mr. Idris Badmus receives a BSc in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria in 2015, an MSc degree in Computer and Systems Engineering from Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn Estonia in 2018 and another MSc degree in Wireless Communication Engineering from the University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland in 2019.
Idris Is currently a Researcher / Doctoral Candidate at the Center for Wireless Communication, University of Oulu. Idris's research interest includes but not limited to Network software and Virtualization, Software Defined Network / Network Function Virtualization, Network slicing, Multi-Access Edge Computing, Network architecture design, and implementation, Network management, and orchestration, Latency requirement in a virtualized network environment , etc. Idris has worked on the MOSSAF micro-operator project and he is currently working on the EU H2020 5G! Drone project.
Idris has worked on the design and implementation of the end-to-end network slicing architecture for a 5G micro-operator. Idris is also an active researcher in the 5G Test Network development team.
