I am working as a researcher at the Mobile Futures project in Faculty of Education and Psychology. In this project I look at two-way integration and trust in every day encounters in the lives of those people who have been forcibly displaced from their previous homes. My doctoral thesis focused on exploring practices that hinder opportunities for social justice in the lives of children and youth who once were seeking for asylum in Finland without their primary caregivers. My research interest includes various topics related to practices that influence realisation of social justice.
