Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine
Indraja is a Doctoral Researcher at the Microfluidics and Biosensor Research Group with a background in Chemical Engineering. Indraja's research expertise lies in the area of catalyst development and characterization, with a focus on the microstructural analysis of catalysts used in hydrogen production using Rietveld Refinement and XRD data analysis. Indraja has also gained industry experience and her work involved formulation development and performance testing of hybrid roof coatings and paint additives, as well as characterization. Her current research project focuses on studying the relationship between the molecular structure of individual vesicle-forming units and the stability of vesicles of varying sizes, using both lipid and polymer vesicles. She also aims to produce individual vesicles with specific properties to enable self-assembling 3D structures, which could have future applications in tissue engineering and biomedical applications, including targeted drug release.
