Iuliia received her BSc and MSc in Biomedical Engineering from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI", Russia. She then worked as Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant in the same university and a School Teacher of Physics in a Junior Mathematical School at St. Peterburg. During 2016-2023, she worked as embedded software engineer for Firmware for microcontrollers (ATmega, ATtiny), ARM processor and Xilinx FPGA development at the Institute of Applied Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, Russia. Now Iuliia is a doctoral researcher working in automatic control for single-molecule protein manipulation and sequencing in Jianan's lab.
