Javad Shafiee Neyestanak

Javad holds an M.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Tehran, where his thesis centered on assessing the risks associated with using treated wastewater as an alternative resource. He subsequently spent eight years as a Water Resources Engineer and project manager in the Department of Water Quality Engineering at Yekom Consulting Engineers. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Oulu, focusing on “Sanitation systems as sources of environmental contamination in cold conditions: The case of micropollutants load and their role in source identification (SanMic).”
