I specialize in cryospheric remote sensing hydrology, with a focus on utilizing multi-source satellite data and advanced image processing algorithms powered by deep learning. I am currently a doctoral researcher (PhD candidate) at the University of Oulu under the Digital Waters Flagship initiative, centered on the theme Real-time River Ice Prediction through Integrated Remote Sensing and Monitoring.
As a member of the Hydrosystems Engineering and Management (HEM) group led by Associate Professor Ali Torabi Haghighi, my research involves close collaboration with Prof. Harri Kaartinen from the Finnish Geospatial Research Institute (FGI) and Dr. Kari Luojus from the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI). My work focuses on developing real-time monitoring solutions for river ice conditions in Finland, leveraging digital twin technologies to benefit both scientific research and societal needs.
