Kari Kunnas

I'm a doctoral researcher with a background in cell and molecular biology. My current research focuses on protein-protein interactions that may contribute to the cell cycle regulation in prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most prevalent and deadliest cancer for the male population in many countries, which is why understanding the disease better has great potential for improving health on a global scale. I utilize biochemical analyses, 3D cell culture, protein analysis, and advanced microscopy in my work.
