I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Ecology and Genetics Research Unit of the University of Oulu. My PhD is Co-funded by the European Union and the Marie Slowdowska Curie Actions program.

As a doctoral researcher, my work focuses on addressing the global biodiversity crisis using genomics to improve our understanding of species diversity. My thesis, "Characterizing Species Diversity through Genomics: Envisioning Global Bio-Literacy Using Megadiverse Insects as a Model," applies DNA-based methods to enhance species identification and bio-literacy.

I am investigating species differentiation, tackling super-diverse insect groups like parasitic wasps, and integrating historical taxonomic knowledge with modern molecular techniques. Through international collaboration and advanced genomic tools, my research aims to improve species characterization and support conservation efforts.
