My research focuses on social aspects of health and wellbeing, especially with respect to social (in)equality, education and learning. I am currently a Co-PI of the Strategic Research Council (Academy of Finland) project ”School of Comprehensive Well-Being” aiming to understand complexity and development of students’ comprehensive wellbeing in school, including mental, physical and socio-pedagogical dimensions.
