Markus Berg received the M.Sc. (Tech.) and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Oulu,Oulu, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. From 2005 to 2017 he was a Research Scientist and Project Manager with the Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu. In 2015, he was a Design Engineer with Elektrobit, Oulu Finland, and Bittium, Oulu Finland. Since 2017, he has been a Senior Research Fellow and an Adjunct Professor with the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu. In 2018 he founded ExcellAnt Ltd., where he is currently working as a Senior Antenna Advisor. His current research interests include antennas and propagation for wireless communication, sub-THz integrated antennas, and GNSS reflectometry. He has authored or co-authored more than 90 international journal and conference articles. He holds one patent.
