Doctoral Researcher
After pursuing International Masters Program at the faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, University of Oulu, I started my doctoral training at the Dept. of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Oulu University Hospital. My Bachelors was major in Microbiology from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, I am working with the endometrium cell population focusing especially on mesenchymal stem/stromal cells related metabolic profile alterations in gynecological disorders in women with PCOS and endometrial cancer. My projects focus on the mechanisms/pathways responsible for the altered endometrial function by elucidating the role of steroid regulation, inflammation, hypoxia, and metabolic related factors related to implantation in these women.
