Mohammad Amzad Hossain Bhuyan is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Fiber and Particle Engineering Research Unit, Faculty of Technology, University of Oulu. His research focuses on utilizing industrial side streams for environmental applications. Mr. Amzad has expertise in geopolymer, alkali-activated materials, advanced oxidation, adsorption of persistent organic and inorganic pollutants, micro and nanoplastics separation, and water disinfection. Amzad received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, an MSc Degree in Material Chemistry from the University of Eastern Finland, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Oulu.
