Mulusew grew up in a small village in Ethiopia. He works hard and has become a detail-oriented young professional. He demonstrates his academic excellence in various parts of the world. In his undergraduate studies, he majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Bahir Dar university, Ethiopia. He also completed his Erasmus Mundus master's degrees in photonics and machine learning a joint program organized by France, Finland, and Italy. Now he is a doctoral researcher in the project of Label-free single-molecule digital Raman assay for quantification of low abundance biomarkers (DigiRaman) in the Jianan Lab of Nanophotonic Biosensors.
