Niina Halonen received her M.Sc. degree in organic chemistry in 2003 and Ph.D. degree in 2013 in electrical engineering from the University of Oulu. Currently she is working at the Microelectronics Research Unit, as a post-doc and project coordinator. Her research topics include nanomaterials, different sensor applications and bio-based polymers. Niina is the coordinator of NEWPACK project which has received funding from the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking under the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 792261.
