Omar, a hydro-scientist, holds a Bachelor's degree in Water Engineering and Hydraulic Structures from Ain Shams University. He pursued a Master's degree in Applied Ecohydrology (MAEH) through the Erasmus+ scholarship at four EU universities. His doctoral research focuses on understanding hydrological responses in peat-dominated catchments under various management scenarios, assessing carbon-water balance. Omar also works on optimizing digital monitoring technologies in hydrologic modeling and developing advanced calibration approaches using underutilized datasets.
