Oona Piipponen

I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the transdisciplinary research programme Frontiers of Global and Arctic Resilience funded by the Research Council of Finland (2023-2028). My focus area is education for socio-ecological resilience. I am interested in how schools develop whole-school approaches to sustainability through collaborative learning, leadership practices and student-led, inquiry-based learning.

My past research has focused on, for example, intercultural education, experiential learning, childhood studies, participatory methods, narrative research, and design-based research in schools.
