Postdoctoral Researcher
I study the long-term galactic cosmic ray variability caused by solar activity. I study the variations at different spatial and temporal scales employing especially spectral and Fourier analysis. I'm also interested in how turbulent phenomena manifest in the variation of galactic cosmic rays. My research data consists of measurements by our universities and other global neutron monitors and in-situ spacecraft instruments that include measurements of cosmic ray variation, the heliospheric magnetic field and solar wind speed, temperature and density.
I have also been active in many working groups in the academic community and in the Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers
