Pawani Porambage received her doctoral degree in the field of lighweight security for sensor networks from the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland (2018), Master’s Degree in Ubiquitous Networking and Computer Networking from University of Nice Sophia-Anipolis, France (2012), and Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka (2010). She is a post-doctoral researcher and a docent at the Centre for Wireless Communications - Networks and Systems research unit, at the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (ITEE), University of Oulu, Finland. She was a researcher at CWC with more than nine years of experience in the domains of Lightweight Network Security, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, and MEC. During her stay at CWC, she has been working on multiple Finnish and EU research projects, and COST Actions.
