CWC-Radio Technologies
Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering
Peize Zhang received the B.S. degree from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China, in 2015, the M.S. degree from the China Academy of Telecommunications Technology, Beijing, China, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree (Hons.) from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2022, all in electrical engineering.
From 2016 to 2018, he was also a research assistant with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Beijing, China. In 2021, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Université catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. Since 2022, he has been a postdoctoral researcher in 6G Flagship programme with the Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), University of Oulu, Finland. From May 2024, he is also a visiting research fellow at Lund University, Sweden. His current research interests focus on radio propagation and channel modeling with various applications in 5G/6G systems such as millimeter-wave/THz communications and ISAC.
He was a recipient of the China National Scholarship (the highest honor for Ph.D. Candidates) in 2021, IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Fellowship in 2023, Jorma Ollila Grant from Nokia Foundation in 2023, and URSI Young Scientist Award in 2024.
