Pekka Kantanen graduated from University of Oulu in Materials and Mechanical Engineering a Doctor of Science in 2023 and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1996. Currently he work as postdoctoral recearcher. At present, he field of expertise is related to the QP (quenching and partitioning) and ART (austenite reverse transformation) -treatments of UHSS steels including medium carbon (0.3-0.4C) and medium-Mn steels.
