Phong Nguyen

I am working as the PhD researcher at the Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis. Before doing PhD in Oulu, I received the Bachelor degree of Mechatronics from Ha Noi University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Viet Nam and then got the MSc degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Dongguk University in South Korea.

At University of Oulu, I am working on the new topic related to novel view synthesis using deep generative model for the application of mixed - reality application. Using just a small amount of observations including captured images and their camera poses, I would like to perform 3D reconstruction of the indoor scene.
