Renske Visser is a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Small Matters Project, a project funded by the Research Council of Finland. As part of this project she is exploring children's beliefs and ideas around death and dying, and the role "child" has in Death Studies. Her previous research has looked at cancer care in English prisons, ageing in secure forensic hospitals, homemaking in later life and parental bereavement in young adulthood. Her latest publication titled Critical Approaches to Death, Dying and Bereavement co-written with Professor Erica Borgstrom is published by Routledge. She is co-host of the Death Studies Podcast.
