I am an interdisciplinary environmental researcher with particular expertise in climate-water-energy nexus. In a nutshell, my research is related to what controls the quantity of water in the landscape, across a large range of spatial and temporal scales. I have been working over the past few years on the impacts of climatic change on mountain hydrology; precipitation extremes and intermittency; short- and medium-term water supply and hydropower forecasting; harnessing hydropower from urban water and waste-water system; reservoir sedimentation and decommissioning. Currently, I am focusing on Water-Food-Energy NEXUS for sustainable resources management in the Arctic environment.
