Shreya Pandey
MSc. Wildlife Science
Doctoral researcher
Ecology
I started my research career at the Amity Institute of Forestry and Wildlife. Assessing spatial distribution patterns of Smooth-Coated Otters and Fishing cats and used the data to determine the impact of human disturbance on species presence. Over the past three years, I have been working in biodiversity conservation in India by developing scientific information to assist policymakers in forming species management plans in an effective and meaningful manner. My area of interest lies in studying Habitat ecology, understanding the impact of anthropogenic disturbances and uncontrolled human modifications upon the biota.
In a constant strive to bring on a motivated change in the field of Wildlife science and conservation through dedication and novel findings. To drive conservation efforts using modern and innovative evidence-based research. I believe that each single effort counts. Working towards achieving perfection and enhancing my skills at an advanced level of learning in the field of Genomics and Remote sensing regarding generating knowledge about Wildlife.
At present I am working as a Doctoral researcher in Ecology and Genetics unit in the University of Oulu.
