Sofia Sova

I am a PhD student in the ECM and hypoxia research unit in Johanna Myllyharju group. My PhD work concerns characterization of the effects of mutations on human collagen prolyl hydroxylases and the role of individual collagen hydroxylases in fibrosis. I am also studying collagen-like proteins (adiponectin, MBL).

I have completed my MSc degree in Department of biology in University of Oulu having genetics as my major subject.
