My research interests are multidisciplinary in nature, and my main field of expertise is applied psychology. I'm especially interested in environmental psychology and exercise psychology. In my current role as a postdoctoral researcher in the Frontiers of Arctic and Global Resilience (FRONT) research programme I focus on climate worry, its impacts on wellbeing, and resilience factors in adolescents. My doctoral thesis explored the role of nature connectedness in preventing and reducing marine plastic pollution.
In addition, I teach quantitative research methods and supervise master's theses in psychology.
