Syed Ghufran Hashmi

Ghufran Hashmi received his M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology-Finland in 2009 and D.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics from Aalto University-Finland in 2014, He has been actively involved in developing next generation of photovoltaic devices in particularly Dye-sensitized solar cells and Perovskite Solar Cells based Photovoltaic Technologies. In 2015, he was awarded Academy of Finland’s prestigious Post-doctoral Fellowship and was also appointed as Research Fellow (09/2018) at Department of Applied Physics at Aalto University. Currently he is Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Printed Electronics at University of Oulu. He is author/co-author of >20 refereed scientific journal publications, 6 conference proceedings and 6 patent applications.
