Hi! My experience spans over a decade in multidisciplinary biomedical engineering
research. During my Master's research, I focused on analyzing bacterial luciferase protein dynamics and structure using steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence. Further, I worked on the development of biological tissue-simulating phantoms for biomedical optical devices and investigated the contractile activity of plasmodium (Physarum Polycephalum) using Doppler optical velocimetry.
My doctoral research centered on the hemorheological properties of red blood cells (aggregation, deformability, morphology) and their interactions with nanoparticles using optical manipulation and
microscopy methods.
Currently, my research interest is focused on microfluidic systems specifically for liposome synthesis.
