In my doctoral research, I explore intergenerational transmissions and adverse childhood experiences. I approach these topics through the lens of posthumanist feminisms, particularly drawing on affect studies. I am especially interested in how to study experiences and memories that are difficult to verbalize. I use creative methods in my research. Previously, I have worked with children, youth, and families as an occupational therapist and special education teacher.
