Postdoctoral researcher in the Learning and Educational Technology (LET) Research Lab. My research interests cover emotions, motivation, and socially shared regulation in collaborative learning, and how to study these processes with multimodal multichannel data (e.g., video observations, physiological data, situational self-reports). I am also interested in motivational and emotional processes in learning with Artificial Intelligence (AI), and how AI could be used to both investigate and support motivation and emotions in learning.
Currently, I work in the Hybrid Intelligence research program funded by the Research Council of Finland in the Profi7 initiative. My work relates to the research theme of Understanding Humans in AI interaction.
I am also a lead researcher in the Research Council of Finland funded MotoR-project where we investigate how regulation of learning influences students’ motivation in short and long term during secondary school.
