Tuomas Majuri (MD, PhD) works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Research Unit of Population Health in University of Oulu. His research aims to integrate interdisciplinary perspectives from psychiatry, occupational health, economics, and psychology to study functioning, work ability and occupational outcomes among various mental disorders. Defending his thesis in 2023, at the age of 27, he became one of the youngest PhDs ever in the fields of psychiatry & occupational health care in Finland.
