Ville-Pauli Karjalainen

Ville-Pauli Karjalainen received his MHSc. degree in Medical and Wellness technology at University of Oulu in 2021. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant in Simo Saarakkala's Diagnostics of osteoarthritis research group (DIOS) between 2017 and 2021. Ville-Pauli has worked on multiple projects, mainly focusing on biomedical imaging, micro-computed tomography imaging (µCT) and image analysis. Currently, he works as a multidisciplinary project researcher between Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Humanities, focusing on biomedical and archaeological µCT-imaging and image analysis.
