Ville Tuppurainen
MSc (Tech)
Doctoral researcher
Ville Tuppurainen is a doctoral researcher at Chemical Process Engineering (CPE) research unit at University of Oulu. He is specializing in process synthesis and conceptual process design methodological development utilizing chemical engineering relevant computational property prediction possibilities in the context of novel solvent-based biorefinery processes. He currently also acts as a teacher in the courses 477209S Chemical Process Simulation and 477223S Advanced Process Design. He is a skilled user of various chemical engineering relavant computational tools such as Aspen Plus, Aspen Process Economic Analyzer, COSMOtherm and Matlab and has experience in computations carried out in the CSC supercomputing environments.
