Unifi's seminar on sustainability and responsibility

The University of Oulu and the Finnish Universities' Rectors' Council UNIFI ry are organizing a joint sustainability and responsibility seminar in Oulu on November 4-5, 2024. The theme of the seminar is social responsibility and leadership. The seminar is organized annually by one of UNIFI's member universities, and its purpose is to bring together leaders, researchers, and administrative staff working on sustainability and responsibility issues at universities.

The seminars monitor the implementation of UNIFI's sustainability and responsibility theses and collectively discuss new actions and practices to promote sustainability and responsibility in universities through workshops and panel discussions. The programme includes panel discussions, workshops on sustainability work in higher education and on monitoring and developing Unifi's sustainability and responsibility theses. The dinner event provides a welcoming opportunity for networking with representatives of other universities' management, administrative staff, sustainability specialists, and researchers.

The programme will be published and registration will be opened in August 2024.

Monday 4.11.: Seminar from 14–17, Dinner in the city center from 18–21

Tuesday 5.11.: Seminar from 9–15
