Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is designed for business professionals who are in a key positions in their companies and wish to develop their competencies especially in the field of strategic management. The programmes are carried out in Finnish.

Oulu Business School Executive Education organises short term study programmes for its international university partners and clients. The programmes can span from a couple of days up to some weeks.

Our most common programmes last from 3 days to two weeks and include lectures, company visits as well as workshops based on company assignments. The visits can be arranged any time of the year.

Over the years we have organised summer programmes for our many Chinese partners and also many short term programmes during study semesters for our Chinese and European partners. The most sought-after expertise that we have provided to our partners includes insight into the Nordic management styles, technology-based innovations and start-ups.

The Martti Ahtisaari Institute implements the two-year international Master's program in Business Analytics and the minor in Entrepreneurship and Business Design as part of the basic education at the Oulu Business School. The minor in Entrepreneurship and Business Design is available to all degree students at the University of Oulu. Additionally, it is possible to pursue a doctoral degree at the institute by conducting dissertation research in these areas: business models and business development, digital business, business growth, entrepreneurship and education, and responsible business.
