Tytti Tuppurainen and Keijo Posio appointed to the Board of the Martti Ahtisaari Institute

Member of Parliament Tytti Tuppurainen and CEO Keijo Posio have been invited as new members of the board of the Martti Ahtisaari Institute.

MP Tytti Tuppurainen serves as the chair of her parliamentary group and a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. She is also an alumna of the University of Oulu. During the previous government term, Tuppurainen held positions as Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering as well as Minister for European Affairs.

Keijo Posio is the CEO of OP Pohjola bank. Previously, he has served as the CEO of OP Oulu bank and held various roles within the OP Financial Group, including as bank director and member of the executive team.

The board of the Martti Ahtisaari Institute is chaired by Director Marko Ahtisaari. Other members include Professor Eva Liljeblom and Dean Janne Järvinen. The institute’s activities are supported by its Director, Professor Petri Ahokangas, and its Deputy Director, Sauli Sohlo, who also serves as the board's secretary.
