You are welcome to drop in at the Career Centre and ask for advice on your career and job search or just get to know our services. The career experts are available for you for example to review your CV, job application or LinkedIn profile, and help you with JobTeaser or finding a traineeship.
From 16th Sept 2024, we will be open
from Monday to Thursday at 11.00-15.00.
We serve all the students and doctoral researchers at the University of Oulu and students at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OAMK) on a first-come, first-served basis for about 15 min/student.
Find us at the heart of the Linnanmaa Campus, close to the green coat racks or from the Tuudo map (Career Centre YT101).
Career Centre services on autumn 2024
- Career Drop-in from Mon to Thu between 11.00-15.00 at the Career Centre (from 19th Sept).
- Work Ready workshops prepare you for the job market and job search. Join them to upgrade your employability skills and learn to craft a stand-out CV, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. We recommend attending each of the workshops before booking appointment for the career guidance.
- Join the company visits and recruitment events to meet and chat with the employers from various fields. You will get to discover new career opportunities and build professional networks. Follow the upcoming event on the JobTeaser and Career Centre event calendar!
- From 19th Sept, the Arctic Advisors provide you with guidance on living in Oulu and the University on Thursdays between 12.00-13.00 at the Career Centre lobby.

JobTeaser - Open jobs and traineeships for UniOulu students
The JobTeaser service offers you hundreds of open jobs and traineeships targeted especially for the University of Oulu students. It allows you to search for job, traineeship, and thesis positions by field, location, type of employment, and language, as well as activate a job alert matching your search criteria. We publish new jobs in JobTeaser every day and recommend for you to check them out frequently.
In JobTeaser, you will also find the University of Oulu's career services like career guidance and stay up to date on the upcoming career events and workshops. As a student or doctoral researcher at the University of Oulu, you can log in or sign up for the JobTeaser at https://oulu.jobteaser.com.
When creating your JobTeaser account, please ensure you are on the University of Oulu’s JobTeaser. The UniOulu logo tells you are on the right place. Use only the browser version of JobTeaser, as the mobile app is outdated and does not work.
