Do you know the new names and operators of campus restaurants?

There have been changes in campus restaurants and their names over the summer as the providers of restaurant services have changed. The restaurants will open gradually throughout August and the opening hours and menus can be found on their websites.

The restaurant previously known as Napa in the central hall of the Linnanmaa campus has been transferred to Uniresta and will now be called Lipasto. Similarly, the restaurant near the Pegasus Library is now operated by Uniresta and its name has changed from Foodoo to Julinia.

The restaurant formerly known as Kastari, located in the university’s main building, has been taken over by Juvenes and is now named Kerttu. Other Juvenes restaurants on the Linnanmaa campus are Foobar, Mara, and Voltti, which is located in Tietotalo and was previously known as Kylymä.

The Juvenes restaurant Foobar is reserved exclusively for upper secondary school students on weekdays from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm. At other times, the restaurant is open to everyone. The upper secondary school of the Oulu University Teacher Training School (Norssi) has moved to the Linnanmaa campus, into the Environmental Sciences Building (Ympäristötietotalo).

The Medisiina restaurant on the Kontinkangas campus is operated by Sodexo.
