Scientists answer topical questions in new science video series

In our new science video series, ten of our researchers from different disciplines tell us what's going on in their research right now.

Postdoctoral researcher Eve Hyrkäs told about the history of obesity in an interview with Juho Karjalainen. The episode will be seen later in the autumn.

In the Unique from Oulu – expert answers series, researchers answer questions that many people are asking in a generalised way. Topics include the history of obesity, menopause, the impact of tourism, water resources and automotive cars. Episodes last less than 10 minutes.

The episodes can be viewed on the University of Oulu's YouTube channel and on the university's social media accounts. The first episode has been published, in which Researcher Kaisa Lehosmaa and Doctoral Researcher Petteri Kiilunen talk about the blueberry drop. The other nine episodes will be published during the autumn.

Juho Karjalainen is the series' host on screen. The episodes were filmed at Studio Klippi in Linnanmaa campus.

The episodes of the first season of Unique from Oulu are also available on the University's YouTube channel.
