Sign up for the usability stydy of oulu.fi web service and help us develop our communications for students

The usability research will be conducted on Thursday 28 September 2023 at Linnanmaa campus. You can participate in one pair study that lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. More detailed schedules will be agreed with those who signed up, but we aim to arrange the usability research before midday. As a thank you, you'll get a coffee ticket to the campus restaurant. Sign up for the usability research using the online form no later than Tuesday 26 September.

In addition, we conduct shorter, approximately 15-minute mini-interviews on campus, which you can participate by arriving at Tellus Linnanmaa on Thursday 28 September 2023 between 1pm and 4pm. As a thank you, you'll get a UniOulu reflector.

We examined the experiences and wishes of students regarding the university's communications in the beginning of 2023. Some respondents said that it is difficult to find the information they want on the website or that the information is not presented in a very user-friendly way. User research is now used to find out how the information could be presented in the future so that the website would better serve the needs of students in the future.

The University of Oulu conducts usability research and interviews in cooperation with Exove, a specialist in digital service development.
