Sustainability Studies Network: The call for applications for the courses is open from the 1st to 14th of August 2024

Are you interested in broadening your knowledge in sustainability? Study sustainability-themed courses from other Finnish higher education institutions through Sustainability studies network!

The University of Oulu is a member of the Sustainability Studies Network. It consists of eleven Finnish higher education institutions, and it offers courses related to sustainability, responsibility and environment themes for the member institutes’ degree, doctoral, and exchange students. The network offers basic, intermediate, and advanced courses.

Network’s first application period for the courses of the entire academic year 24–25 is at the beginning of August, from 1st to 14th of August 2024. The second application period for the studies held in the spring semester 2025 is at the end of November, from 17th to 30th of November 2024.

Take a closer look at the course selection and read more about the application process on the pages of the Sustainability Studies Network. Instructions of the University of Oulu for cross-institutional studying are here.

You can include certain courses from the Sustainability Studies Network for example in the Sustainable Development Minor: check the courses that can be included from the minor's study guide page. If you want to include courses from the network in another study module in your degree, please discuss with your tutor teacher or your degree program coordinator.
