The university lightens the mask recommendation 

The University of Oulu lightens the recommendation for the use of mouth-nose protector and the use of mask is no longer necessary on the university premises. The university's recommendation is based on the decisions taken by the Northern Ostrobothnia Regional Coordination Group and the City of Oulu.

The Regional Coordination Group decided on 21 September 2021 that the Northern Ostrobothnia has returned to the baseline level of the corona epidemic which why some of the restrictions can also be released. It is estimated that the normal activities of the university cause low-risk for the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.

Please do not enter campuses if you feel ill or suspect coronavirus infection. When everyone acts responsibly, the everyday life on campuses is safe and the work and studies can continue without interruptions.
