The North Changes the World is the series of events for university staff about the strategy and goals that has been set for the activities. Student experience is about everyday life of students and that’s why this event is now open also for students.

The event takes place in Zoom in Finnish there will be English simultaneous interpretation. To follow the simultaneous interpretation, you have to download the latest version of the Zoom app or at least Zoom version 5.2.2 (see the Zoom instructions below).

How to listen to the English simultaneous translation in a webinar?
PLEASE NOTE! Make sure you have the latest version of the Zoom app (or at least Zoom version 5.2.2)
When the host of the webinar will start the interpretation session, you will see the Interpretation function in the webinar controls.
- Click Interpretation icon. The icon looks like a globe. If you cannot see the interpretation option, check the ellipsis [...] menu to see the options that do not fit in the visible options.
- Choose “English” from the language menu.
- You will hear the interpreter translating and the voices in Finnish in the main channel are fainted. If you don’t want to hear the faint sound of the Finnish language speech, choose “Mute Original Audio”.
