Would €2,500 warm up your wallet? Participate in the Kickstart business idea competition!
Oulu Innovation Alliance wants you to think of potential new businesses and share your new ideas in the Kickstart business idea competition. If you are a student of the University of Oulu, Oulu University of Applied Sciences, or OSAO, you can participate in the competition. Apply either in Finnish or English, alone or in a team, or from any field of study. The competition provides you with a chance to develop your business idea, receive valuable feedback, and get excited about entrepreneurship.
Participate in the competition with a video showing your business idea. This business idea must provide a solution to a challenge or problem. If the business idea succeeds, you will move on to the semi-finals of your educational institution, where you will compete with other ideas from the institution.
If your output reaches the finals, you can pitch your idea at the Business Corner premises at Oamk on Wednesday 29 November from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. In this case, a jury of entrepreneurship experts will be present to give their feedback on the business idea.
The university semi-finals will award 1000/500/300 euros for the top 3 and the prizes in the final will be 1500/1000/500 euros.
The application period is open to 30 November 2023!
