Danny Croghan

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Hydrology and Water Quality research group in the Water, Energy and Environmental Engineering Research Unit. My research is focused on examining the impacts of water quality and hydrology in northern Latitude catchments. Currently, I am using state of the art high-frequency sensor technologies combined with high-frequency data analysis to research the carbon cycle at the Pallas and Oulanka research sites. My work seeks to increase the process based on the understanding of carbon cycling in the Arctic. Recently, I have also begun using Distributed Temperature Sensing to better understand water temperature Dynamics in the Pallas site.
