Water, Energy and Environmental Engineering
Faculty of Technology
I am working at Water resources and Environmental Engineering unit. My doctoral studies concentrate on the control of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and phosphorus leaching in drained peatlands (peat fields, peat forests, abandoned fields). I study simultaneous effects of groundwater table conditions on GHG emissions and phosphorus leaching and the effects of functional plant diversity on GHG emissions.
My studies are implemented in collaboration with Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) and belong to a research network, which develops sustainable solutions for peatland agriculture.
